Little Miss Muffet - Super Saturday

Good morning!  Happy Saturday!  Hope your weekend is off to a great start!  We've got a busy day ahead of us and luckily, I am feeling better, so I hope I will be up to it.  I am here to share my DT card for this week's Super Saturday feature at the Little Miss Muffet blog.  You know the drill - we have a cute freebie, a stamp that is available at a reduced price for a limited time, and lots of inspiration from the Little Misses with both.

The freebie this week is Hanging Bat.  It is perfect for those fun Halloween cards you are working on.  I didn't have a chance to make anything with it, but I definitely will in the future.  The spotlighted stamp is Clover Toadstool Dreams.  I love all the Clover stamps by Pollycraft for Little Miss Muffet Stamps!

Here is my card:

My card base and mats are SU Cherry Cobbler and the patterned papers are from my scrap bag, so I can't tell you where they came from.  I've colored Clover Toadstool Dreams with my Copics and added a bit of White Pearl Pen to the spots on the mushrooms.  The sentiment is from Guylou's Inimitability.  It was free with her Starla digi.    Three Wild Orchid Crafts Chrysanthemums finished my card.

Here is a close-up of the image:

Thanks for stopping by!  Be sure to visit the Little Miss Muffet Challenge blog and check out the wonderful creations from the rest of the DT.  All the details for obtaining your freebie and purchasing the spotlighted stamp are in today's post.  Two reminders: you have until October 8th to play along with our current Merry Christmas challenge.  There is also still time to join in on the Graffiti Party using your freebies from Make it Crafty and Little Miss Muffet Stamps. All the details are on the Graffiti Party blog.

I am entering my card in the following challenges:
Tuesday Morning Sketches #217 (sketch)

Alcohol Markers Challenge - The Outlawz

Good morning!  Happy Friday!  The weekend is nearly here!  Hope you've had a good week and you have fun plans for the weekend!  I am starting to feel better, so I know the weekend will be better than during the week.  Before getting on with my day, I am here to share my DT card for this week's Alcohol Markers Challenge at The Outlawz site.  The theme for this last week of the month is the ever-popular "anything goes" with the option to make it a Christmas creation.  Don't forget, you must have coloring with alcohol markers (any brand) on your project.

Here is my card:

My card base and mats are SU Baja Breeze and the patterned papers are from the My Mind's Eye All is Bright 6x6 pad.  The precious image is In The Manger from Mo's Digital Pencil.  You can find it in Mo's shop here.  I printed it on MiC Blending Card and colored it with my Copics.  I added some splashes of Shabby White Fran-Tage for some texture and sparkle.  The sentiment is from Create With TLC.  I added fancy corners cut with my Cameo using a free cut file from SVG Cuts. I embellished them with fancy pearl accents.  Some pretty lace finished the outside of my card.

Here is a close-up of the colored image:

Although I don't usually, I decorated the inside of my card, too.  Here is the inside:

I used another design from the same patterned paper pad and a sentiment frame made with my Spellbinders Radiant Rectangles dies.  The sentiment on the inside is from JustRite Stampers Christmas Nested Sentiments. I don't think these old style stamps are available anymore.

Thanks for stopping by!  Be sure to visit the Alcohol Markers Challenge and check out the lovely creations from the rest of the DT!  We hope you will be inspired to play along!  It is your last chance to get in on the prize offered by our September sponsor, Digistamps 4 Joy.  One randomly-chosen participant in this month's challenges will win 5 digis of their choice from the DS4J shop!

I am entering my card in the following challenges:
Sunday Sketch and Stamp #175 (Kim's sketch)
Twisted Tuesday Challenge #59 (Challenge: splatter; Twist: at least two words)
Charisma Cardz Challenge #38 (decorate the inside)
Crafts-Too Challenge You #3 (Theme: texture; Twist 2-add something shiny or glittery; I used Fran-Tage)

Dance in the Rain

Hi again!  I'm back with a second post today.  It's a miracle, I know.  I started feeling a little better this afternoon, so I went into the craft room and got a card done that I now want to share.  It's for a few challenges that I will name at the bottom of my post.

Here it is:

My circle easel card base and mats are SU More Mustard and the pretty fall-colored papers are from the Basic Grey Clippings (patchwork backgrounds), Black Tie, Oxford and Stella Ruby collections.   The adorable image is Sweet Oklahoma from Saturated Canary.  You can find her in Krista's store here.  I colored her skin, hair and bow with my Copics and paper-pieced the rest of the image.  The sentiment is a Friday Freebie from Sharon's A Piece of Heart blog.  You can see a close-up below.  A triple-loop bow of mustard grosgrain and a bunch of coordinated Basic Grey buttons finished my card.

Here is a close-up of the colored and paper-pieced image:

Homemade With Love

Hi there!  Happy Tuesday!  Hope your week is off to a great start!  I have a bunch of stuff going on and haven't been able to get in my craft room much lately, but I am hoping to get there later today for a bit.  Until then, I have a quick post to share a card I made for a few challenges with a fall theme.  It doesn't seem much like fall here.  It's been in the 80s and 90s and not a drop of rain since Labor Day!  I'm actually looking forward to the cooler days.

Here is the card I made:

Nothing says fall like freshly-baked apple pie!  Yummy!  My Mom used to make the best apple pie!  My card base and mats are GKD Cranberry Tart and the patterned papers are from the Bo Bunny Forever Fall 6x6 pad.  My sweet image is Apple Bake from the Elisabeth Bell Digital Collection.  I printed her on MiC Blending Card and colored her with my Copics.  The sentiment is from Create With TLC.  Three metallic leaves and a double-loop satin bow finished my simple card.

Here is a close-up of the colored image:

Little Miss Muffet - Super Saturday

Good morning!  Happy Saturday!  Hope your Friday the 13th was lucky and your weekend is off to a great start, too!  It's time once again for the Super Saturday feature on the Little Miss Muffet blog.  You know the drill by now.  We have a freebie for you to grab, a spotlighted stamp offered at a reduced price in the Little Miss Muffet shop and lots of inspiration from the Little Misses with both!

The freebie this week is Hot Air Balloon.  I love this image and it can be used for so many occasions!  The spotlighted stamp is Bandit Boy Tom.  He's such a cutie and perfect for those boy cards we have trouble with!  I didn't have a chance to make a card with him, but I do have one with Hot Air Balloon.

My card base and mats are GKD Turquoise Sea and the patterned papers are all from the Basic Grey What's Up 6x6 pad.  I printed the image on MiC Blending Card and colored it with my Copics.  I added a cloudy sky for the background.  The sentiment is from an old GKD set called Take Flight.  I kept this one simple with no added embellishments so the focus was on the image.

Here is a close-up of the colored image:

Alcohol Markers Challenge - The Outlawz

Good morning!  Happy Friday and Friday, the 13th, at that! At last the weekend is nearly here!  What a busy week it's been!  I'm hoping for a quiet weekend with some time in my craft room, but we'll see.  Before that, I am here to share my DT card for this week's Alcohol Markers Challenge at The Outlawz site.  The theme this time is "chocolate", in honor of International Chocolate Day.   Who doesn't love chocolate?

Here is my card:

My card base and mats are GKD Dark Bown and the patterned papers are from the Basic Grey Bittersweet collection.  Remember that one?  It was awhile back when that came out, but I still had some hoarded.  The main image was created by merging lots of little chocolates from the Tea Party Food Combo set from Little Miss Muffet Stamps with a tray to hold them.  The tray is from the Tea Party Dishes and Trays set.  I printed the merged image onto MiC Blending Card and colored it with my Copics.  The sentiment is from Create With TLC.  Perfect, right?  I finished up my card with a simple Pink Pirouette twill bow.

Thanks for stopping by!  Be sure to visit the Alcohol Markers Challenge and check out the mouth-watering chocolate creations from the rest of the DT!  We hope you will play along this week!   We've got a fantastic sponsor for the September Challenges.  Digistamps 4 Joy are sponsoring and they are offering the randomly-selected winner of this month's challenges five digis of their choice from the DS4J shop!  There are also lots of monthly site-wide prizes to be won when you enter the challenges at The Outlawz!

I am entering my card in the following challenges:
