Deck the Halls

Good morning!  Happy Friday and Happy Halloween!  Hope you've had a good week and you have fun plans for the weekend!  Not having kids, we don't do much for Halloween, but I'll be looking forward to the weekend after that!  Right now, I am here with my DT card for this week's Friday Coloring Challenge at The Outlawz site.  The theme this week is "anything goes" with the option to make it a Christmas theme.  The Christmas part is completely optional.  You can use any coloring medium you'd like, but there must be at least one, hand-colored image on your project.

Here is my card:

My card base and mats are SU Gumball Green and the patterned papers are from the Recollections City Sidewalks 6x6 pad.  The adorable image is Jinkles Elf from Make it Crafty. Isn't she cute? She is one of the newly-released Christmas digis. They are all so fun! I printed her on MiC Blending Card and colored her with my Copics. A dimensional foil sentiment sticker finished my card.

Here is a close-up of the colored image:

Sketch Saturday #333

Good morning!  Happy Saturday!  I hope your weekend is off to a great start!  I am just getting started, but it's looking like it will be a nice day, so I am anxious to get away from the computer and enjoy the beautiful weather.  Before that, I am here with my DT card for this week's Sketch Saturday Challenge.  This week we are sponsored by Sir Stampalot who is offering the lucky winner a prize package from the store.

Here is this week's great sketch designed by Vannessa:

Here is my card:

My card base and mats are SU Lost Lagoon and the patterned paper is from the Kaisercraft Botanical Odyssey 6.5 x 6.5 pad.  The beautiful image is Wheately from Art by Mi Ran.  I printed it on MiC Blending Card and colored it with my Copics.  The colors are quite different for me.  They were inspired by some that Mi Ran herself used to color this image.  I though they worked well with these papers.  Some purple satin ribbon and three flowers from my stash finished my card.

Ho, Ho, Ho

Good morning!  Happy Friday!  Hope you had a good week and you have fun plans for the weekend!  We are having awesome Fall weather here right now, so I am hoping we get to do something outdoors this weekend.  I am here now with my DT card for this week's Friday Coloring Challenge at The Outlawz.  I'm sure you know by now that it's Party Week at The Outlawz!  In addition to our usual challenges, there are lots of fun games and extra prizes, so be sure to check it out!  All the details are under the Party tab on the main page.  Anyway, back to the challenge.  This week's theme is "make a scene".  We want to see some sort of scene, even a simple one, on your project.  You can use any coloring medium you'd like, but you must at least one hand-colored image on your creation.

Here is my scene card:

I made a super simple card with just the scene as the focal point.  The fun holiday images are Jolly Santa and Santa's Sleigh (from the Festive Elements collection) from Make it Crafty.  I merged the images and printed the merged image on Make it Colour Blending Card.  The images were colored with my Copics.  The sky was air-brushed with my B37 marker.  I added a few twinkling stars with a Sharpie White Pen.  I used Polar White Flower Soft for the snow.  The sentiment is from Create With TLC.  A simple ribbon bow finished my card.

Here is a close-up of just the image:

Thanks for stopping by!  Be sure to visit the Friday Coloring Challenge and check out the fab scenes from my teammies, Penny, Kathi and Laine and out wonderful Guest Designer, Joan.  We hope you will play along!  You have a chance to win a great prize from our October sponsor Karleigh Sue Digis. We also have three extra sponsors because it's Party Week.  Hannah Lynn Art, Rick St, Dennis, and Willow Digital Designs have all generously contributed prizes for this week's challenge!  Lots of chances to win, so don't miss out!

Little Miss Muffet Challenge #97

Good morning!  Happy Thursday! I hope all is well with you and you are having a crafty week!  As you saw in my late post last night,  I have been super busy with real life and haven't had much time to craft or blog this past week or so.  I hope that I can get back to my regular schedule soon.  Anyway, I am here now with this week's Little Miss Muffet DT post.  We have a new challenge this week and the theme is "if you go down to the woods".  I know.  What does that mean?  I asked the same question and basically, we want to see either fairies or bears on your project.   See, that was easy!

Here is my project:

My card base and mats are SU Grass Green and the patterned paper is from the Bo Bunny Autumn Song 6x6 pad.  The adorable image is Spencer's Garden by Pollycraft for Little Miss Muffet Stamps.  He's one of the stamps on the gigantic sale so if you love him, go get him!  I colored him with my Copics and added some grass for him to sit in.  A few Autumn-toned flowers finished my card.

Here is a close-up of the colored image:

Sketch Saturday #332

Good morning!  Happy Saturday!  Hope your weekend is off to a great start!  I'm not up yet when you see this, but I am looking forward to a nice weekend and hopefully a little down time.  I am here now with my DT post for this week's Sketch Saturday Challenge.  This week, we are sponsored by Bunny Zoe's Crafts who are offering the winner a £10 GC to the Bunny Zoe's Crafts store.

Here is this week's sketch, designed by Debra:

Here is my take on the sketch:

My card base and mats are SU Basic Black and the patterned papers are from my Halloween stash.  The fun image is Witchy Concoctions, one of the new Halloween stamps from Make it Crafty.  I colored the whole scene with my Copics.  I tried out the glow technique, but I obviously need a little more practice at it!  I also tried to give the background an eerie look. Not sure if I was successful.  I added a bit of Glossy Accents to the gauge on the pot.  I didn't add any embellishments so the scene could be the focus.

Here is a close-up of the colored image:

Thanks for stopping by!  Be sure to visit the Sketch Saturday blog and check out the fabulous creations from the rest of the Saturday Girls!  We hope you will find time to play along this week!

My card base and mats are SU Really Rust and the patterned paper is from my pile and I have no idea whose it is.  All I know is that it has pumpkins!  The cute image is Tommy's Apples For Mommy from Elphine House Australia! I stamped him on MiC Blending Card and colored him with my Copics.  I added a few opaque gems and a 3D pumpkin sticker to finish my cute Autumn card.
