Sketch Saturday #338

Good morning!  Happy Saturday!  Hope your weekend is off to a great start!  We've had a few calamities this morning, but nothing that can't be fixed with a service call (grrrr...). Too bad they can't come out to fix my brand new washing machine in less than 6 days!! I've only had it 10 days and it's already broken!  Crazy!  Anyway, I am here with my DT card for this week's Sketch Saturday Challenge.  We are sponsored by Drawn With Character, who are offering the lucky winner 3 digis of their choice.

For this fifth Saturday of the month, you can choose whichever sketch you'd like from week #215-337.  I chose #330, which so happens to be the sketch from my DT week.

Here is my card:

My card base and mats are SU Baja Breeze and the patterned papers are from one of large Christmas mat stacks (sorry, the cover is missing).  The sweet image is Poinsettia and Girl from Art by Mi Ran.  I colored her with my Copics and added Stickles to the flower centers and designs in the background. Some pretty, lace, a satin bow, a shimmery poinsettia sticker and a few sparkly brads finished my card.

Good morning!  Happy Friday!  Hope you had a wonderful Thanksgiving!  Be safe out there today if you are doing the Black Friday sales!  I most definitely don't go out in those crowds, so I hope to catch up on some things around the house and maybe even get some crafting done.  I am here now with my DT post for this week's Friday Coloring Challenge at The Outlawz site.  The theme for this last challenge of the month is "anything goes" with the option to add a Christmas twist.  The twist is completely optional, but if you are like me, you will welcome the chance to add another Christmas card to your stash.  You can use any coloring medium you'd like, but you must have a hand-colored image on your project to enter.

Here is my card:

My card base and mats are SU Real Red and the patterned papers are from the Recollections City Sidewalks 6x6 pad.  The fun image is Phoebe Christmas Wish by Make it Crafty. She is one of the fab new Winter Girls digis that were released recently.  I printed her on MiC Blending Card and colored her with my Copics.  I'll add a sentiment later once I know who is getting this card.  Three Wild Orchid Crafts poinsettias finished my card.

Season's Greetings

Hi again!  I'm back with a super quick second post today before I head out for the rest of the day to celebrate the holiday.  I made another card to add to my Christmas stash.  Can you tell I'm getting a little nervous by how quickly Christmas is coming at us?  I don't want to have a panic at the end!

Here is my card:

My card base and mats are SU Riding Hood Red and the patterned papers are from the Little Yellow Bicycle Wonder & Wishes collection.  The cute image is Elfie Elizabeth from Art by Mi Ran.  I colored her with my Copics then added glitter to the trim on her dress and hat.  I added Red, Green and Gold Stickles to the gifts and the bells on her hairband and hat.  The sentiment is a dimensional foil sticker with gems.  I finished my card with a sparkly red poinsettia sticker.

Little Miss Muffet - Thursday Inspiration

Good morning!  Happy Thursday and happy Thanksgiving to all in the US who are celebrating.  I am popping in quickly to share this week's Little Miss Muffet DT card.  It's Inspiration Thursday, so throughout the day, the Little Misses will be sharing projects we have made with some of our favorite LMMS products.  It's all happening over in the Little Miss Muffet Stamps Facebook Group, so be sure to drop by there.

Here is my card:

I went CAS again this week!  I know you are probably amazed that I could go two weeks in a row without any patterned papers on my cards!  It was tough, but I always need a few flat Christmas cards that are easy to mail, so I took this opportunity to make another for my stash.  The cute image is Swings 'n Slides All The Trimmings by Pollycraft for Little Miss Muffet Stamps.  I colored her with my Copics and added some Stickles to the ornament and glitter to the trim on her hat and dress.  The Christmas tree is a retired digi from Little Miss Muffet.   Sorry, I forgot to check before I used it in my scene. It is also colored with Copics and decorated with Stickles.  The sentiment is stamped and is from JustRite Stamps.  I doodled around the border and called it a day.

Here is a close-up of the colored images:

Thanks for stopping by!  Be sure to visit the Little Miss Muffet FB group throughout the day for wonderful inspiration from the rest of the Little Misses! You still have until Tuesday, December 2nd to enter our "clean and simple" challenge on the Little Miss Muffet blog.  Hope you will play along!

Friday Coloring Challenge - The Outlawz

Good morning!  Happy Friday!  Hope you've had a good week and you have fun plans for the weekend!  The weather has improved dramatically here and we are back into the 60s, at least during the day.  It's still cold at night, but that's OK.  We may even get some much-needed rain on Sunday, which is fine as long as it doesn't come with the severe thunderstorms that are predicted. Anyway, I've got a busy day so I will get on with my DT post for this week's Friday Coloring Challenge at The Outlawz site.  The theme this week is a color inspiration.  You don't have to match the colors exactly, but we want to be able to recognize the overall color palette on your project.  And don't forget, you can use any coloring medium you'd like as long as you have a hand-colored image.

Here is the color inspiration photo, courtesy of Design Seeds:

And here is my card:

My card base and mats are SU Lost Lagoon and the patterned papers are from the My Mind's Eye Cut & Paste "Charm" 6x6 pad.  The image is Aurora Daisy from The East Wind, our sponsor for November.  The DT was generously provided with a digi to use and this is the one I chose.  I printed her on MiC Blending Card and colored her with my Copics.  The sentiment is from Create With TLC.  A few opaque gems is aqua and deep purple finished my card.

Little Miss Muffet Challenge #99

Good morning!  Happy Thursday!  Hope you've had a good week so far!  Other than being very busy and it being pretty chilly here, my week has gone pretty smoothly.  I've got a lot to do today, but before getting on with that, I am here with my DT post for Little Miss Muffet Stamps.  We have a brand new challenge for you today.  The theme is "clean and simple".  Sometimes CAS is harder for me than lots of layers where I can use my patterned papers, but I did my best to keep it true CAS.

Here is my card:

I printed the adorable Swings 'n Slides Little Miss Christmas on heavy white coloring cardstock and colored her with my Copics.  I also printed the sentiment directly on the card.  It is from Whimsy Stamps and was generously provided as a freebie recently in the Whimsy Stamps and Inspiration Facebook group.   A bit of doodling around the border and that was it!  I rarely do CAS, but this was kind of fun!

Here is a close-up of the image:

Thanks for stopping by!  Be sure to visit the Little Miss Muffet blog and check out the fabulous CAS creations from the rest of the Little Misses and our wonderful November Guest Designer, Paola!  We hope you will play along!  You have until Tuesday, December 2 to enter the challenge.

Elphine House Australia Challenge #64

Hi again!  I'm back with a second post for today, although that's because it's already tomorrow in Brisbane, Australia and it's time for another Elphine House Australia Challenge.  The theme this month is "favorite colors".  It couldn't be easier than that!  Please remember that you must use an image designed by Elisabeth Bell (any company) for your project.

Here is my DT card:

Those who know me know that these aren't my "real" favorite colors.  They are only my favorites this time of year when I love the warm colors of Autumn.  My card base and mats are SU More Mustard and the patterned papers are from the Bo Bunny Forever Fall 6x6 pad.  The sweet image is Daisy Scattering Love from Elphine House Australia.  I stamped her on MiC Blending Card and colored her with my Copics.  I cut out the "thankful" sentiment with my Cameo.  A simple bow and a few gemstone leaves finished my simple card.

Here is a close-up of the colored image:

Thanks for stopping by again!  Be sure to check out the new Elphine House Australia challenge and feat your eyes on the gorgeous creations from Lynda and Julie.  We hope you will play along with your favorite Elisabeth Bell image and favorite colors!

Winter Wonderland

Good morning!  Happy Tuesday!  Hope your week is going well so far!  It has been a cold couple of mornings here.  It's only been in the low 20s and even the highs have only been around 40.  Crazy weather for Alabama, that's for sure.  At least we are not getting the snow that many of my family and friends are getting up North!  Anyway, I am here now because it's my turn to post some inspiration over on the Digi Bells blog

Here is my card:

My card base and mats are SU Baja Breeze and the patterned papers are from the Bo Bunny Snowfall 6x6 pad.  The cute image is Frosty The Snowman from the Elisabeth Bell Digital Collection.  I colored it up with my Copics.  I added some snow glitter to the trim on their hats.  I also added some snowflakes punched from glitter paper with tiny gems in the centers.  The sentiment is from Create With TLC.  A button and some Baker's Twine finished my card.

Here is a close-up of the colored image:
