Friday Coloring Challenge - The Outlawz

Good afternoon!  Happy Friday and day after Thanksgiving here in the US!  Hope you had a wonderful time with family and/or friends if you celebrated.  Best of luck to those that venture out on "black Friday"!  Not me, not a chance!  I am popping in to share my DT card for this week's Friday Coloring Challenge at The Outlawz.  The theme this week is "anything goes'" with the option to add a Christmas twist.  Only a month left until Christmas!  The twist is optional, but you must still have a hand-colored image somewhere on your project.  Any coloring medium is fine.

Here is my card:

My card base and mats are SU Riding Hood Red and the patterned papers are from one of the Recollections 6x6 Christmas pads, I think.  The adorable image is Winter Sisters by Vera Lane Studio.  I colored it with my Copics then added a bit of sparkly glitter to the muff and ball on the stocking cap.  The sentiment is from Create With TLC.  A red chevron-striped bow finished my card.

Here is a close-up of the colored image:

Thanks for stopping by!  Be sure to visit the Friday Coloring Challenge and check out the fun and festive creations from the rest of my teammies.  We hope you will find time to play along this week!  It's the last chance to be in the running for the fabulous prize from our November sponsor, Vera Lane Studio.  The prize is a digi set from the Vera Lane Studio Etsy shop.  Go have a look at the wonderful and whimsical artwork in Janet's shop!

Have a fantastic weekend and see you soon!

Friday Coloring Challenge - The Outlawz

Good morning!  Happy Friday!  Hope you had a good week and you have fun plans for this weekend before Thanksgiving here in the US.  It's been another busy week, but by some miracle, I got my card done on time and I am here on the right day to post my DT project for this week's Friday Coloring Challenge at The Outlawz.  The theme this week is "thanks/Thanksgiving".  You can use any coloring medium you'd like, but you must have a hand-colored images somewhere on your project to enter.

Here is my card:

My card base and mats are SU Baja Breeze and the patterned papers are from the My Mind's Eye Indic Chic "Nutmeg" 6x6 pad.  The cute images are from the Best Friends digi stamp set by Vera Lane Studio.  I colored them with my Copics.  Two of the sentiments (left and right sides) are from Create With TLC.  The bottom one was computer-generated.  A few sparkly gems finished my card.

Friday Coloring Challenge on Sunday

Good afternoon!  Happy Sunday!  Hope you've had a great weekend!  It's been very busy around here since late in the week, hence my being late AGAIN with my DT post for this week's Friday Coloring Challenge at The Outlawz site.  The theme this week is a color inspiration.  You can use any coloring medium you'd like, but you must have a hand-colored image somewhere on your project to enter.  You don't have to match the colors exactly, but we'd like to be able to recognize the overall color palette we've chosen for inspiration.

Here is the color inspiration photo, courtesy of Design Seeds:

Here is my card:

My card base and mats are SU Grass Green and the patterned papers are from the Bo Bunny Autumn Song 6x6 pad.  The cute image is Grumpy Fae with Acorn Sitting on a Toadstool by Aurora Wings.  I colored it with my Copics and added some Liquid Pearls to the toadstools and Stickles to the wings.

Friday Coloring Challenge - The Outlawz

Good morning!  Happy Friday!  Hope you've had a good week and you have fun plans for the upcoming weekend!  It's supposed to rain all weekend here, so not much chance for outdoor activities, I'm afraid.  Too bad, because the temperatures are actually nice and mild and we still hjave some color on the trees.  Anyway, don't faint, but I am actually here on the right day to post my DT card for this week's Friday Coloring Challenge at The Outlawz!  The theme for this first challenge of November is "cooking/food".  You can use any coloring medium you'd like, but you must have a hand-colored image somewhere on your project to enter.

Here is my card:

My card base and mats are GKD Wine With Everything and the patterned papers are from Karen Foster.  I'm not sure which collection they came from. I went with a "cooking with wine" theme! The fun images are from the digi set, Petite Syrah from Vera Lane Studio.  I colored the cute wine girl and the wine bottle with my Copics. The sentiment is from the same digi set.
